Well, I guess I should introduce the two best camping dogs ever. Pooh and Shy. They are eight now and this was their first major trip in a car to go anywhere. Nerves were frayed at first but after about an hour everything was great. I wrapped the rental in plastic and headed out from my home to Terlingua TX. We stopped the first night in Van Horn, TX at a KOA I've never seen so many desert cottontails. Old Jake went to sleep but Shy is the hunter... she was alerting all night. Her ears go straight up but Jakes are "floppy" so to speak.
