Well all this is new to me but what the hell. I'm an avid camper. I've two dogs... litter mates. They are eight now. They are Chow mixes and between them they weigh 167 lbs. But they can jump into my Sidekick and that's all we need to travel. Jake is the boy but I call him "Pooh" his sister Shiloh... goes by Shy. Almost every weekend we go camping and I always try to go to someplace new.
A couple of years ago I bought twenty acres in Terlingua, TX. On Oct 4th with my Mom (who came all the way from Fl.and without her confidence in me would have never happened) and my dogs we drove there to check it out. It's absolutely stunning... more beautiful than I had hoped. It's about 30 miles from the heart of Big Bend National Park. I bought all my camping gear for that trip.
I also like to take pictures. I enjoy photo- blogs better anyway. So if you like dogs, camping and so-so pictures (I'm learning still) than this is the blog for you. So I am hoping to hear from like minded campers. Thanks Tom.
